Established in 1931, Cutten Fields has grown over the years and now offers a year round venue for casual and fine dining, banquets, weddings, social events and various other functions, as well as Golf & Tennis.

We are looking for a full time Event Coordinator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Clubhouse Operations Manager, our Event Coordinator is responsible for promoting, planning and organizing events while ensuring a high quality guest experience.

We are looking for someone to:

- Develop and maintain relationships with our members and guests

- Develop proposals for all potential clients

- Be the main point of contact for members, clients, and event convenors to plan menus and details for events

- Maximize revenue through event sales

- Develop new business opportunities through marketing channels & community involvement :

- Accurately enter all necessary information into the Banquet Event Orders

- Update and communicate changes as necessary

- Communicate with guests and members about their events, including reminders, date confirmations, etc.

- Supervise and coordinate events on the day of when required

- Coordinate with outside vendors as required

- Maintain onsite presence when required - Hours of the job will vary and are dependent on the events scheduled.

- Work alongside Executive Chef to build menus for events

- Build annual event packages





- Reinforce respect and safety in the workplace.

- Other duties as required

The person we are looking for:

- Completed post-secondary education in Events Planning/Management preferred
- 2 years of experience in Events is preferred, Private Club experience is an asset
- 3-5 years customer service experience
- Sales background
- Experience in JONAS Club Management an asset
- Solid communication skills, and presents themselves professionally at all times
- Is able to work independently and takes initiative - has a positive, solutions based attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Available to work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends and holidays).

Pay: $52,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
