Do you love sales and know your way around building materials? We are looking for someone to join the team at Delcan Building Materials . We sell high-quality products to contractors, builders, and homeowners, and we need a motivated Sales Associate to help us grow.
What You’ll Do
- Help Customers : Be the person our customers trust. Build strong relationships with contractors and homeowners so they keep coming back to you for advice and materials.
- Give Advice : Help people find the right lumber and materials for their projects to save them time and money.
- Make Sales : Show customers why our products are the best, write up quotes, and close the deal.
- Visit Job Sites : At times, you may need to travel to visit customers at their job sites.
- Stay Sharp : Keep up to date with what’s new in the industry so you can answer questions confidently.
- Work as a Team : Work with the rest of our staff to make sure orders get filled and delivered on time.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience : 3 years of sales experience in lumber/building materials is a bonus, but it is not required .
- Knowledge : You should know about lumber and construction so you can give good advice.
- Self-Starter : You work hard without needing someone looking over your shoulder.
- Availability : You must be able to work Saturdays when needed.

Delcan Building Materials is part of the Delcan Group of Companies , which consists of three firms that specialize in the manufacturing and sales of PVC products, as well as the wholesale and retail sales of building materials. Our manufacturing facility is in Calgary AB and our main office is in Fort Macleod, AB.
