Job Overview Brampton Logistics company is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Flatbed Dispatcher to coordinate and manage transportation operations. This role is a Temp to Perm oppoirtunity (after 6 months) This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where strong communication and analysis skills are essential for success.

Duties

- Communicate with customers and find loads for trucks to maintain monthly sales numbers.
- Responsible for order entry, using a check list for accuracy. This includes pick up/delivery addresses, contacts at each location, PO/SO/Reference #s, using our checklist to be thorough and precise.
- Plan/dispatch trucks for all customer and dispatch the drivers with all the correct information.
- When necessary, dispatching contracts to carriers, with all/any special instructions once the rate has been agreed upon.
- When required, do data entry & customs.
- Trace and track all the shipments through the day
- Resolving any issues regarding any order with the carrier or drivers brought. This may include any accessorial, delays or service problems.
- Finalizing any accessorial charges with the customer.
- Additionally, you will be crossed trained with another role.




- To handle all aspects of the company’s operations from phone calls to dealing with drivers and carriers.
- Collect POD from carriers & drivers within a reasonable amount of time.
- Add carrier packets and update profiles.

Qualifications:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have one year dispatch experience. If in a flatbed industry prefeerred.
- Loadlink experience is a must!
- Extensive knowledge of customer service procedures and principles.
- Organized with attention to detail - takes pride in work.
- Multi-tasker with solid ability to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to adapt to new software with strong typing skills.
- Ability to resolve customer complaints and issues while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
- Excellent problem-solver skills, very resourceful
- Strong ability to prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software #STIND

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
