To support the on-going growth of our business, we are currently seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and safety-oriented Labourer :to join our team. Reporting to our Foreman, the Labourer is responsible for customer service and traffic flow throughout the yard and assisting with loading/unloading materials from vehicles.

Key Responsibilities :

- Control traffic near, in or around work area
- Clean work area to eliminate possible hazards
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, of equipment or materials
- Read instructions, work orders or other customer requirements to complete customer orders
- Load, unload, or identify materials, distributing them to the appropriate locations on work site
- Manually heavy lift materials to assist in loading/ unloading and stocking of material
- Spot trucks and heavy equipment
- Communicate using two-way radio
- Use any hand tools that may be required for tasks
- Exercising positive customer service while dealing with the public




- Complete Pre-Job Hazard Assessments and Equipment Pre-Use Inspections
- Other general labour duties as required

Education and Experience :

- 1 - 2 years outside heavy labour experience
- Must be able to perform physical repetitive tasks with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work outside year-round in all weather conditions
- Previous experience working in the industrial/metal industry is considered a strong asset
