Deli Counter Associate

Pay Rate : $17.60/hour Shift : 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Working Days : Monday to Sunday (Full-Time) Location : North York

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Slice, weigh, and package deli meats, cheeses, and prepared foods :

- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked deli display

- Assist customers with orders and product selection

- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (Food Handler practices) :

- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and FIFO inventory rotation :

- Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the deli counter

Requirements :

- Italian-speaking or bilingual (Italian-English preferred) :

- Previous experience as Grocery Store Associate / Food Service Worker is an asset

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

- Ability to work versatile shifts, including weekends

- Comfortable in a fast-paced grocery/retail environment

Pay: $17.60 per hour
