What You’ll Do

As a Host/Hostess , you are the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in setting the tone for their entire experience. Your friendly attitude, organization, and ability to manage the flow of the restaurant help ensure smooth operations and happy guests.

From greeting guests at the door to coordinating seating and managing waitlists, you help create a welcoming and organized environment. Your role is all about making guests feel valued from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.

- A positive, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Previous customer service or restaurant experience is an asset (but not required)
- Must be 16 years of age or older (or per provincial requirements)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and game nights

In This Role You Will

- Greet all guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations
- Coordinate with servers and management to ensure proper table rotation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
- Answer phone calls promptly and assist with reservations and inquiries
- Support servers by helping with table resets and maintaining dining room flow
- Assist with take-out orders and guest pickups when needed
- Ensure the entrance and waiting area remain clean, safe, and inviting
- Help create a fun, energetic atmosphere for guests
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the team

What a Typical Shift Looks LikeStart of Shift

- Arrive on time and prepared
- Set up the host stand and ensure all materials are ready
- Review reservations and floor plan with management

During Service

- Greet and seat guests efficiently and warmly
- Manage waitlists and communicate accurate wait times
- Coordinate with servers to maintain smooth table flow
- Assist with keeping the restaurant clean and organized
- Support the team wherever needed during busy periods

End of Shift

- Clean and organize the host stand
- Assist with final dining room checks
- Prepare for the next shift
