We are growing and are looking for a Front Counter Parts Advisor to join our team in Abbotsford. This is a key, customer-facing role where you’ll work directly with fire departments, technicians, and internal teams to keep critical equipment in service and ready when it matters most.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for customers and internal teams, responsible for delivering fast, accurate, and professional parts support.

This role combines customer service, parts sales, and technical problem-solving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Customer Service & Front Counter

- Identify customer needs quickly and provide accurate solutions
- Deliver a professional, responsive experience from start to finish
- Provide clear updates on parts availability, pricing, and delivery timelines

Parts Sales & Support

- Identify and source parts using catalogues, VIN lookups, and supplier systems
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and complete invoices accurately
- Recommend related or alternative parts to ensure complete solutions
- Support technicians with parts identification and availability

Ordering, Inventory & Operations

- Order parts from internal stock and external suppliers
- Verify pricing, availability, and lead times
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Maintain an organised and efficient parts counter and storage area
- Assist with inventory counts, returns, and warranty parts

Team Collaboration

- Work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, and the Parts team




- Communicate with vendors to confirm orders and resolve issues
- Support overall workflow to keep operations running efficiently

What You Bring

Required

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable using computers and inventory or parts systems

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

- Experience in parts, service, or a technical environment
- Heavy-duty, automotive, or equipment background
- Dealership or service centre experience
- Forklift experience or certification

Work Environment

- Fast-paced, customer-facing role
- Standing and moving throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required

Position Type : Full-time, Permanent Schedule : Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PDT Compensation : $55,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
