COSCO SHIPPING is one of the major ocean carriers in the world. COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Canada) Inc. (headquarter) is located at downtown Vancouver, Suite 1805 - 1055 Dunsmuir Street, Vancouver, BC V7X 1K8. We have an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for helping customers regarding their shipments and providing administrative assistance in our Vancouver office.

This is a junior, full-time union excluded position based on 37.5 hours per week in our Customer Service Department.

Responsibilities :

- Assist and communicate with customers regarding documentation issues/concerns
- Provide required information and/or documents to customers in time
- Maintain and update vessel schedules and related cutoffs
- Coordinate with other departments for print and release of official documents
- Generate and send manifests according to various customs regulations
- Assist other team members in the department when necessary
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries, as well as outing mails
- Input office expense invoices into internal system




- Provide administrative support and perform administrative tasks as needed

Skills/ Requirements

- Junior College degree or higher
- Work experience in shipping/freight forwarding an asset
- Attention to details
- Good verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation
- Good team player and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and able to handle and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work in high pressure, quick paced environment
- Willing to learn
