Overview

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Process cash and card transactions with precision, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, upselling menu items, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, food preparation zones, and cashier stations in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation as needed
- Manage time efficiently to serve multiple tables or customers during busy periods
- Ensure proper food safety practices are followed during service and food handling
- Support team members with serving duties, including setting tables and refilling beverages

Experience





- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and food industry best practices
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales is a plus
