We need an active, energetic Sales Assistant Trainee to learn to perform a variety of physical and clerical tasks in a small but growing company in New Westminster and Richmond. We sell medical equipment for people with disabilities, such as wheelchairs and a wide variety of other home and institutional healthcare aids.

We need an eager and confident team member with good communication and people skills, willing to help with sales, equipment setup, quotation and other tasks. For the right person, this is an opportunity to learn about clients, medical prescribers, specialized equipment and services that we offer. The medical equipment industry is growing, and we need dynamic people to help us meet the needs of our clients.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS : Positive health and physical fitness.

Energy to act quickly to complete tasks.

Clear English language proficiency in speech and writing.

Mandarin is also helpful.

Excellent typing and computer skills.

Quick learner.

Citizenship or valid work permit.

Current residence in Lower Mainland, especially Richmond or Vancouver.

Valid driver’s license.





DUTIES, (training provided) :

- reception and answering enquiries from medical prescribers
- making detailed quotations for healthcare equipment
- generating purchase orders and responding to suppliers
- gathering equipment for quick daily turnaround of salespeople
- using basic tool skills for equipment setup
- completing transactions for billing
- providing sales reports
- delivery or sales calls, (vehicle provided)
- help where needed in a small company

REMUNERATION :

- $40k to 50k to start, depending on skills and experience
- health plan after three months
- full-time, Monday to Friday, daytime
