The Dawson Road Family Medical Clinic is a large medical clinic with 22 Family Physicians working collaboratively with Allied Health Professionals from the Guelph Family Health Team.

We are looking to add a full time member to our Switchboard/Reception Team. As a medical Receptionist you will be a vital part of the healthcare team. You will be required to utilize skills in electronic medical records, office experience, smooth patient interactions and productive administrative processes.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Checking - in patients
- Handle multi-line phone system
- Triaging phone calls and booking appointments for 22 physicians and Allied Health professionals
- Familiarity with Telus Health EMR
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Validating demographics and health cards
- Taking 3rd party payments
- Multi-tasking
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
