Waverley Road Montessori School is a Licenced Care Centre and member of the Montessori Canada dedicated to catering to children ages 18 months to 6 years. We are located in the Beaches area in Toronto

We are looking for special individuals who take initiative, have a peaceful and joyful personality; who are passionate, creative and truly have a strong love to work for children. The ideal guides will have a strong commitment to the principles of Montessori education.

We are hiring individuals who are passionate about working with children and are interested in growing their career in Montessori Philosophy.

Requirements: Strong written and verbal skills

Good organization skills and strong classroom management

Guide children in all areas of the Montessori workplace including toilet training, and modelling grace and courtesy

Takes instructions well and able to work independently

Complete program plan, lesson plan, documentation,



observation ensuring health and safety of children

Good communication skills with parents

Love for nature and holistic approach

Qualifications: MACTE or AMI accredited Infant and Toddler Diploma

MACTE or AMI accredited Casa Diploma and or RECE (robust asset)

Membership in good standing with the College of ECE if applicable

Valid Fist Aid and CPR Certificate Level C

Updated immunization record and TB test previous to start

Criminal Reference check with Vulnerable Sector completed prior to starting

Able to work outdoors during all seasons
