Our client, Logistics & Distribution is seeking a Night Sorter Dartmouth 12:15AM to join their team. As a Night Sorter Dartmouth 12:15AM, you will be part of the Operations team supporting fast, accurate freight processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, reliable attendance, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Night Sorter Dartmouth 12:15AM

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Shift: 12:15AM - 8:00AM

What's the Job?

- Unload and sort freight efficiently while following established procedures
- Preload up to 5 trucks by pulling assigned freight off the conveyor belt
- Scan, cube, reweigh, and accurately prepare packages for loading
- Work with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers, and package vehicles
- Accurately scan and count stops on each truck, and write all premium products while loading

What's Needed?
- Ability to lift 70 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs consistently, and perform physical tasks safely
- Must wear steel-toed work boots every day; safety shoes are required and safety vest and gloves are recommended
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a time-sensitive environment
- Willingness to work as part of a team and follow directions
- Successful completion of required checks, including criminal record check and employment verification; health check (physical/medical clearance) as required
