As a Cleaner, your main responsibility will be to maintain a clean, secure & healthy environment for the residents of this brand new residential building located in Burnaby .
You will also be in charge of :
- Reporting all deficiencies, maintenance requirements, vandalism and care taking supply inventory to the appropriate Supervisor, as required.
- Handle garbage and cleaning common areas in the building (lobbies, elevators, lounges, etc) as well as sweeping, mopping and dusting.
- basic cleaning of parkade and stairs
- Follow and improve procedures, follow up on requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
People with great attention to detail and with great working ethics tend to do very well in this position.
- Previous Janitorial experience in residential, strata or commercial setting will be an asset;
- Excellent work ethics;
- Self-motivated individual who gets satisfaction from a job well done;
- Demonstrated ability to read and communicate in English;
- Excel at customer service
- Good knowledge of operational work of a Strata Building will be an asset. :
- Physical abilities to pull and manage garbage bins
