- Prepare, portion, and serve meals and snacks according to diet orders
- Deliver meal trays and assist residents during mealtimes as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
- Report resident concerns related to appetite or dietary intake to nursing staff
- Assist with stocking, inventory, and general kitchen duties
- Ensure accurate and respectful meal service at all times
Requirements :
- Experience in a retirement home, long-term care, or food service setting preferred
- Solid knowledge of food safety and special diets
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties
- Food Handler Certificate (mandatory)
