Job Overview We are seeking a couple of dedicated, part-time & full-time skilled Cooks to join our culinary team at the Royal Oak ( 4496 W Saanich Rd ) location!

We're all about teamwork at Floyd's - many hands make light work!

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and plating guides.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment with an emphasis on CAYG mentality
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially breakfast eggs-perience !
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. Slicers, robot-coupe, griddles, fryers, immersion blenders, etc.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Valid Foodsafe is a must!
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
