Duties and Responsibilities

- Under the direction of the Operations Manager, assists in achieving the objectives of the P&D; operation (% on-time delivery).
- Create routes and daily trips for the drivers.
- Manage on time performance of deliveries.
- Bring to the attention of the Manager any driver problems impacting the operation (P&D; or Dock).
- Be familiar with all P&D; routes and any problem areas, resolving issues as necessary.
- Ensure dock equipment is held as needed for maintenance.
- Ensure drivers are aware of all/any unusual delivery/pickup requirements and update TMS System (Truck Mate).
- Ensure all appointment freight is brought to the attention of the AM Operations Supervisor and is loaded in a way to ensure on time delivery.
- To assist drivers resolve any conflicts in a professional manner.




- Ensure data entry and order preprocessor are completed as needed.
- Ensure all damages are noted on strip manifests properly and agents are advised of the freight which is unsafe to deliver
- Making sure all the freight is secured in the trucks with the help of straps and bars
- Bring any OSD issues to your supervisor/manager immediately

Requirements and Qualifications

- 2+ years previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a diverse workplace
