Responsibilities
- Operate snow plow equipment safely and effectively to explicit snow from roads, parking lots, and walkways.
- Perform routine inspections of plow machinery to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical equipment for minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Assist with related landscape maintenance tasks such as irrigation, gardening, or general groundskeeping during off-season periods.
- Conduct regular safety checks and adhere to all safety protocols during operations.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding work progress or equipment concerns.
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all equipment is stored properly after use.
Experience
- Prior experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or similar construction equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance, horticulture, or general gardening is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance and repair of construction or landscaping tools is advantageous.
- Experience with irrigation systems, gardening, or horticulture can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction or maintenance work is desirable.
