Position Details

Role: Decedent Transport Driver

Location: Red Deer (must live in Red Deer)

Schedule: On-call, 24-hour shifts, 2-3 shifts per week

Pay: Commission / paid per call-out (not hourly)

Start Date: Immediately

You must:

- Be located in Red Deer
- Have a clean criminal record
- Be insurable under commercial vehicle insurance
- Be available for 24-hour on-call shifts
- Be able to respond to calls at any time during your scheduled shift

Responsibilities

- Transport deceased individuals from homes, hospitals, care facilities, and other locations
- Handle remains with dignity, care, and professionalism
- Complete required paperwork and documentation
- Communicate with funeral homes, medical staff, and team members
- Maintain confidentiality at all times

Requirements :

- Reliable and able to respond on short notice
- Physically capable of lifting and moving with proper technique
- Professional, calm,



and respectful demeanor
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in situations involving death and grieving families
