- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and labeling them accurately.
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks to load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency in operations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and resolve any discrepancies in orders.
- Help other employees with random sheet metal jobs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and current license
- Familiarity with order picking processes and package handling techniques.
- Knowledge of shipping practices is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a quick-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
