Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and proactive Working Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily operational activities across our organization. In this role, you will oversee the daily logistics operations while also participating hands on in tasks such as dispatch, routing and delivery support. You will provide front line leadership to ensure smooth operations and will serve as an on call contact for after hour issues. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining high standards of safety and productivity, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages continuous improvement. Responsibilities

- Supervise and support daily operations, including dispatching, routing, vehicle loading/unloading and fieldwork
- Work hands on alongside drivers or warehouse staff during busy periods, staff shortages or emergencies
- Monitor daily workflow and proactively address and communicate delays, errors or inefficiencies
- Be the primary on call contact outside regular hours for urgent issues such as driver problems or equipment breakdowns
- Provide coaching and direction to team members
- Learn each position so you can help onboard new employees and cross train team members for flexibility across roles. Ability to interview, hire, train and dismiss staff
- Communicate operational updates regularly
- Manage 3 terminals and staff (Sudbury,



Sault Ste Marie, Timmins) with the ability to travel to each.
- Evaluate safety, maintenance and other reports with the ability to communicate the results affectively

Skills

- Must be comfortable operating a range of vehicles as well as having liftgate experience. 5 Tonne, 3 Tonne, Sprinter, Transit and Cargo Van
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role in a rapid-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Able to multi task is a must
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear collaboration across terminals and management
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams to achieve high performance levels
- Knowledge of safety protocols, quality assurance practices, and process optimization techniques
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, APPS and technology for operations planning and reporting
