Key Responsibilities
Tire Management (Peak Season Focus)
- Logistics : Efficiently lift and relocate tires/wheels between our on-site storage facility and the main shop.
- Storage Coordination : Maintain accurate, up-to-date storage records for customer and inventory tires.
- Seasonal Demand : Manage the high-volume flow of tires during the busy spring and fall changeover seasons.
- Shop Upkeep : Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and professional appearance of the shop and dealership.
- Support : Effectively communicate with the Service Department and perform parts deliveries when required.
Parts Shipping & Receiving
- Inventory Intake : Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against packing slips, and inspect for damages.
- Order Fulfillment : Pick, pack, and securely label outgoing orders for delivery or courier pickup.
- Systems Management :
Record all inventory movement in the DMS to ensure real-time stock accuracy.
- Returns & Cores : Process "core" and warranty returns, ensuring all parts are tagged and shipped according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Warehouse Organization : Organize stock shelves to maximize space and ensure easy retrieval for technicians and consultants.
- Safety & Security : Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks/forklifts) safely and ensure the parts department remains secure.
Requirements :
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience : Previous warehouse or automotive experience is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina : Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 60 lbs ) and remain active on your feet throughout the day.
- Attention to Detail : High level of precision in record-keeping and identifying part number discrepancies.
- Licensing : A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Professionalism : A respectful demeanor with a neat, qualified appearance and the ability to follow management instructions.
