Overview Edmonton Nut & Bolt is seeking a reliable and flexible Casual Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is to support our operations on an as-needed basis, with varying days and hours depending on business demands.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Warehouse: indoor and climate controlled environment
- Weekdays only (store hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 5pm)
- Moderate computer use, prolonged hours standing
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick and assemble customer orders, wrap skids as required
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking; ensuring accuracy in each stage of the order process
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks or other materials-handling equipment proficiently and safely (training available)
- Unpack and store goods in the correct areas ensuring goods are labeled correctly
- Assist in Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control and Modification area when needed
- Maintain organization within the warehouse to optimize workflow and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all operations involving heavy lifting or equipment use Other duties as assigned by the Efficiency Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma; previous warehouse experience is an asset
- Excellent time management, problem solving, multitasking and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure, with tight timelines, in repetitive tasks
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Clear Criminal Record Check (completed at time of offer)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer. We are unable to offer sponsorship.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
