Job Description

We are looking to onboard an independent owner-operator to join our team in support of the Carriers transportation needs and to service its customers. This Owner-Operator will be granted the option to operate under the Carriers Nation Safety Code and Fleet Insurance Program.

Qualifications :

Business Prospect

- We wish to partner with an independent incorporated business to provide a current model truck and qualified operator to provide local pick-up and delivery services within the service area of the Regina Terminal.

- The Services require business flexibility but are generally required over 5 days per week and may include some weekends. Operational flexibility is a must.

- The qualified operator is responsible for meeting all regulatory requirements including Pre and post-trip inspections of equipment and may include the delivery of periodic dock services to load and unload freight as required.

- Operate within the standards and requirements as outlined in the services contract.

- The Business must provide WCB Coverage to its Operators

- Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight within the Regina service area while adhering to company policies and procedures

- Efficiently and safely picking up and delivering LTL freight

Additional Information :

Operator Qualifications

- Class One License
- 1 year of experience

- Responsible for loading/unloading freight

- Good understanding of the Hours of Service regulations

- Forklift ticket is an asset

- TDG WHMIS and Forklift experience are an asset

- Must be able to provide a criminal record check drivers abstract and 2 references confirming the delivery of service excellence

Equipment Requirements:

- Mechanically Fit City Tractor & ELD Compatible

- Truck specifications that align with the Carriers requirements
