Looking for extra income through part-time work in Gimli? Workplace Janitorial Services is hiring cleaners for a small team serving one established commercial facility.

We offer $18–$19 per hour, paid training, clear cleaning instructions and support from our Operations Coordinator. Once trained, you’ll work independently while sharing a cleaning rotation with your teammates.

THE SCHEDULE

There are three cleaning shifts each week, shared among the team:

- Tuesday evenings, starting after 5 p.m.
- Thursday evenings, starting after 5 p.m.
- Friday evenings, starting after 5 p.m.—with the option to complete this shift on Saturday instead, finishing by 8 p.m.

Shifts generally take 3–5 hours. Individual weekly hours vary with the rotation and coverage needs; a fixed number of weekly hours is not guaranteed.

TEAM ROTATION AND COVERAGE

Team members rotate shifts and cover one another’s unexpected absences, sometimes on short notice. You do not need to be available every time, but regularly being able to help within the cleaning windows is an significant part of the role.

THE WORK

You’ll help keep the facility clean and ready for its next working day. Tasks include:

- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
- Cleaning washrooms, lunchrooms, offices and common areas.
- Dusting and wiping surfaces.
- Emptying garbage and recycling and replenishing supplies.
- Following site checklists and checking your completed work.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You take pride in thorough work, attend your agreed shifts reliably and communicate promptly with your supervisor. You’re comfortable working independently, following instructions,



and contributing to team coverage.

Commercial cleaning experience is welcome, but not required. We provide paid training.

You’ll need to be comfortable with physical cleaning tasks, including bending, reaching, mopping and handling supplies. A smartphone with mobile data is required for our app, which provides work instructions, time tracking and team communication.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORTATION

All work is at one facility in Gimli, with on-site parking and no travel between sites during your shift.

You do not need to own a vehicle, but you do need reliable transportation that works for the location and shift times, including during winter. We’ll review the exact location with you during the hiring process.

SAFETY FOOTWEAR AND EQUIPMENT

Approved safety footwear is required. For new safety footwear purchased for this job, we reimburse the purchase cost up to $100 after completion of the three-month probationary period. A receipt is required.

We provide the other required protective equipment and explain the footwear specifications before you purchase anything.
