Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this Junior Accountant contributes to accounting operations for diverse real estate projects. Daily work includes banking, accounts payable, intercompany accounts, project back charges, and financial records. Property or commercial accounting experience, HST knowledge, and CPA progress are assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, record, and prepare deposit slips for banking
- Track and reconcile lot discharges and house closings
- Reconcile loan balances against external statements
- Set up and reconcile project letters of credit




- Maintain audit-ready records under Canadian GAAP and company policies

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting
- One to two plus years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Property or commercial accounting experience is an asset
- Experience preparing HST returns is an asset
- Robust attention to detail managing multiple ongoing tasks
