Turn health information into meaningful insights at Northern Health through data interpretation, statistical analysis, and accurate reporting. Scheduled hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 08:30 to 16:30.

As a Health Information Management Practitioner, you will work in accordance with Northern Health’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. Under general supervision, you will perform technical functions involving data abstraction, injury scoring, computer entry, statistical compilation, and report generation. You will also communicate about retrieval and interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Enter health information data into computers
- Compile statistical data for directed reporting
- Perform statistical analysis and generate reports




- Communicate regarding data retrieval and interpretation
- Participate in assigned committees and designated projects

Requirements:

- Attention to detail in technical data functions
- Analytical ability for health information work
- Ability to perform data abstraction
- Ability to process approved release requests
- Availability for Tuesday through Thursday day shifts
