As a Community Addictions Worker, you will provide client-centered support while reporting to the Program Supervisor. The work includes assessing clients, matching treatment services to unique circumstances, and developing strength-based plans grounded in evidence-based practices. You will also provide group and individual counselling, maintain confidential files, and communicate with community organizations. The position requires respectful relationships with clients, staff, interdisciplinary teams, and related organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide counselling services to adults with addictions concerns
- Match treatment services to clients’ unique circumstances




- Respond flexibly and promptly to client crises
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary organizational teams
- Build relationships with relevant community organizations

Requirements:

- Demonstrated communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain relationships
- Ability to promote confidentiality and cultural diversity
- English fluency; French, Ojibway, or Cree an asset
- Ability to manage emotions under challenging circumstances
