Support Komatsu heavy equipment customers through accurate parts sourcing and inventory control with SMS Equipment in Prince George.

As a Journeyperson Parts Technician, you will resolve inventory issues while coordinating with customers, manufacturers, distribution, logistics, and branch teams. The work includes alternative-part sourcing, back-order follow-up, stock handling, and computerized records. A 5x2 Monday-to-Friday rotation applies, with mine-site coverage required as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Resolve customer inventory issues promptly and cooperatively
- Source alternative parts when OEM inventory is unavailable
- Process CORE returns and maintain current catalogues
- Enter purchase-order, invoice, and work-order information accurately
- Support apprentice training and warehouse activities

Requirements:

- Journeyperson, Parts qualification
- Three-plus years materials or equipment handling experience
- Effective skilled communication skills
- Computerized inventory systems knowledge
- Komatsu or heavy equipment parts knowledge preferred
