Lead laboratory health services in Peterborough, Ontario, using staff coaching, specimen collection, and daily operational oversight. This is a full-time contract assignment.

As Team Lead, Health Services, you report to the Regional Manager and lead assigned sites. You monitor workflows, client services, occupational health and safety, and team development. The position also performs Laboratory Assistant duties, including blood and specimen collection for diagnostic testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily operations and escalate site concerns
- Coach staff on quality errors and operational targets
- Monitor workflows, wait times, and patient bottlenecks
- Oversee workplace safety investigations and preventive measures
- Perform Laboratory Assistant duties and specimen collections

Requirements:

- Medical Laboratory Assistant or Technician Diploma
- Three to five years laboratory workplace experience
- Knowledge of MOH requirements and guidelines
- Competence in laboratory collection techniques
- Proficiency with Omnitech, Open KM, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
