Ellos HR Solutions is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Designer for a manufacturing organization investing in robotic systems and lights-out manufacturing. You will design equipment that supports minimal human intervention. The work combines custom machinery, mechanical problem solving, and automation development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design custom automated machinery and robotic cells
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and production drawings
- Develop robotic machine-tending solutions for manufacturing equipment
- Design tooling, fixtures, conveyors, guarding, and handling systems
- Participate in assembly, commissioning,
troubleshooting, and improvement
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics
- Approximately three to seven years designing automated equipment
- Robust 3D CAD and mechanical drafting proficiency
- Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar software
- Knowledge of GD&T;, PDM, DFM/DFA, and manufacturing processes
