Provide overnight clinical assessment and nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse with Haven Toronto’s Hospital Overflow Program. Work scheduled shifts from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

This full-time, time-limited contract runs until June 30, 2027. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will support clients redirected from emergency departments for overnight rest, basic support, and monitoring. Apply harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and sound clinical judgment while working independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform assessments and develop inter-skilled plans of care
- Provide general nursing care and therapeutic client relationships
- Address wound care, foot care, diabetes, and mental health concerns




- Administer over-the-counter medication and provide counselling
- Maintain documentation, statistics, correspondence, and reports

Requirements:

- Graduate from an accredited nursing school with an RPN license
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience supporting individuals with mental illness or addiction issues
- Significant front-line nursing harm reduction experience
- Experience in wound care and foot care
