Our growing Mississauga client who is a leader in distribution is looking for a Shipping Supervisor to join their team. The candidate must have a minimum of 3-4 years Supervisory experience in a warehouse and will be responsible for the following: Develops and manages shipping schedules Develops work schedules to ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials and equipment. Promotes the continuous improvement of product and process. Promotes a harmonious work environment where fairness, equity and non-discriminatory practices are the standard. Ensure an on-going approach of coaching, training, disciplining employees, and enforcing policies and procedures. Achieves freight rate Minimum 2 years of community college in supply chain logistics or related field. ~5 years of related experience of hands-on logistics and leadership experience ~ Robust technical and process skills ~ Good understanding of all related roles within his / her field of responsibility. ~ Ability to process orders, track shipments and coordinate warehouse logistics. ~ Hours 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri Salary 65K plus annual bonus #
