Deliver resident care as a Health Care Aide, using safe transfer techniques and providing personal support under Staff Nurse supervision.

At AgeCare, Health Care Aides collaborate with the care team to meet individual resident needs. You will provide basic care and services, follow care plans, and support residents across meals, treatments, mobility, and activities. Your work promotes comfort, well-being, dignity, and respect within residents’ daily routines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bathed, showered, and washed residents using water temperature controls
- Transferred residents using lifts, transfer belts, and protective equipment
- Fed residents and followed care-plan diets during meals
- Provided routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
- Accompanied residents to dining, therapy, recreation, and social functions

Requirements:

- Recognized PCA or HCA 2002 or greater certificate
- Active CLHA registration as required
- Fluent written and spoken English communication
- One year continuing care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education considered an asset
