MacEwan University’s Theatre Department seeks an artist-educator for a full time tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment. The successful candidate specializes in Properties, Scenic Painting, or both, and teaches additional theatre production courses. This role supports undergraduate theatre production education within the Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Properties and Scenic Painting courses
- Teach courses in other theatre production areas
- Contribute to program curriculum advances
- Develop new approaches to undergraduate theatre production education

Requirements:

- Minimum MFA in Theatre preferred
- Post-secondary teaching experience
- Strong professional work record in the expertise area
- Extensive Properties or Scenic Painting background
- Active research practice considered an asset
