Vancouver Coastal Health’s Environmental Services team maintains clean clinical and non-clinical spaces for patients, families, visitors, and staff. This Housekeeping Aide performs floor care, biomedical waste removal, bed-making, and spill cleanup. The work follows organizational policies, procedures, and routines while supporting a safe, respectful setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Damp dust ceilings, walls, vents, furniture, and equipment
- Dry mop, wet mop, clean, and refinish floors
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, beds, and clinical areas




- Collect and remove regular and biomedical waste
- Clean spills, make beds, and maintain facility cleanliness

Requirements:

- Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Physical ability to carry out position duties
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal effectively with others
- Ability to organize work and operate related equipment
