Island Health seeks a practicing Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse for temporary full time care. The nurse supports clients with substance abuse or co-occurring disorders across detox, stabilization, in-home, and outreach settings. Care includes assessment, planning, organization, and implementation through varied community services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess clients using a holistic care approach
- Plan and implement withdrawal management nursing care

- Collaborate with clients, families, physicians, and community contacts

Requirements:

- Practice registration as an RN or RPN in British Columbia
- Up to two years related addictions experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Valid British Columbia driver's license
- Basic computer skills and effective communication abilities
