The Renfrew County and District Health Unit has an opening for one (1) Temporary Public Health Inspector Practicum Student.

Qualifications:

- Enrolled in a post-secondary program or applicable military training to become a public health inspector;
- Entry level knowledge of the Health Protection and Promotion Act and relevant regulations;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language;
- Acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check required;
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (proof required); and
- Valid Ontario ‘G’ Class Driver’s License and own vehicle required.

Term: From November 2, 2026 to April 30, 2027

Hourly Rate: $20.76 to $22.66 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay
