This junior lawyer will develop a high-level litigation practice at a leading national law firm. The work spans class actions, commercial disputes, investigations and regulatory matters. You will manage files, advise sophisticated clients, and contribute to complex, high-profile mandates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex commercial litigation matters and contribute to significant files
- Work on class actions, investigations and regulatory disputes
- Advise clients on legal and strategic matters
- Research and analyze legal issues in depth
- Draft opinions, memoranda, pleadings and written arguments
Requirements:
- Membership in valuable standing with the Québec Bar
- Experience in commercial litigation
- Experience managing files and representing clients before courts
- Excellent legal research, analytical and drafting skills
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
