Welcome to Victoria’s only specialty salon, spa, and celebration space designed just for kids ages 0–14! Our salon is colourful, energetic, busy and occasionally a little silly. Our clients might need a little extra patience, a favourite show on the TV, a distraction, a dance break, or simply a stylist who knows how to make them feel safe in the chair.

If you’re a talented stylist who loves kids, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and doesn’t mind finding the occasional piece of glitter in your shoes, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

The Role

We’re looking for a licensed Hair Stylist to join our crew! You’ll provide high-quality haircuts, trims and styles for kids ages 0–14 (and occasionally their grown-ups too), while creating the kind of experience families actually look forward to coming back for. Working with kids takes a special kind of stylist.

You need great technical skills, but you also need patience, warmth, flexibility and the ability to roll with the unexpected. One appointment might be a toddler’s very first haircut. The next could be a nervous sensory-sensitive guest, followed by a kid who wants six inches off, blue hair spray and enough glitter to be visible from space.

No two days are quite the same around here.

What You’ll Do

- Provide high-quality haircuts, trims and styles for children ages 0–14.
- Create a warm, positive experience that helps kids feel safe and confident in your chair.
- Add a little extra magic with braids, hair tinsel, colour shots, hair gems and other fun finishing services.
- Recommend products and share simple hair-care tips with families.
- Work closely with our reception, spa and party teams to keep busy days running smoothly.




- Jump in with general salon housekeeping when you have downtime, we’re a team around here!
- Be a proud Lizzy Lee & Me brand ambassador, both inside the salon and out in the wild.

Who You Are

- You’re a hairstylist with the training and skills to confidently work behind the chair.
- You genuinely enjoy working with children.
- You’re kind, patient and know how to meet kids where they’re at.
- You’re confident with cutting, styling and finishing techniques.
- You can keep your cool when the salon gets busy, loud and a little chaotic.
- You connect easily with both kids and their grown-ups.
- You’re reliable, positive and a true team player.
- You’re comfortable working weekends, those are our sparkle prime-time days!
- Previous salon experience is preferred, and experience working with children is a huge bonus.
