Role Description The Housekeeping Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Saskatoon Inn & Conference Centre in Saskatoon, SK. This role oversees daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning standards, public area upkeep, and laundry services to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace for guests.

The Housekeeping

Manager schedules and supervises housekeeping team members, provides training and coaching, and conducts inspections to maintain quality and brand standards. The role works closely with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to coordinate room readiness, respond to guest requests,



and resolve issues promptly. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory and ordering supplies, supporting hiring and onboarding of staff, maintaining health and safety compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement of service and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong supervisory skills with experience leading, training, and motivating housekeeping or operations teams.
- Hands-on knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures, including room cleaning standards, use of equipment, and safe handling of linens and supplies.
- Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
- Experience with hiring, onboarding, and scheduling staff, including performance feedback and support for a positive, inclusive workplace.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar hospitality leadership role is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, stand and move for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to housekeeping when needed.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and cleaning regulations and willingness to follow and enforce established procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or management training is an asset.
