We're looking for an experienced Local SEO Service Optimization Specialist who understands how SEO services should be structured, positioned, and presented to attract the right buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and optimize freelancer service titles, descriptions, categories, and keywords.
- Improve service packages, deliverables, pricing structures, and overall presentation.
- Identify weak or underperforming service listings and recommend improvements.
- Analyze buyer search intent and align freelancer services with actual market demand.
- Research competing SEO services to identify positioning and content gaps.
- Ensure service listings communicate explicit, realistic deliverables and professional standards.
- Work with marketplace intelligence and performance data to improve service visibility and buyer engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketplace operations team to maintain service quality and consistency.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of practical Local SEO experience.
- Strong understanding of Google Business Profile, local citations, on-page SEO, local keyword research, and other Local SEO services.
- Experience optimizing SEO service listings, landing pages, or commercial content.
- Ability to understand buyer intent and turn technical SEO services into clear, compelling offerings.
- Strong English writing, analytical, and research skills.
- Familiarity with WordPress, WooCommerce, or freelance marketplaces is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and provide actionable recommendations.
What We're Looking For
Someone who understands both Local SEO and the commercial side of selling SEO services.
You should be able to identify why a service listing isn't attracting buyers, how its offering could be improved, and what makes a service competitive without relying on unrealistic promises.
Compensation
CAD 20-24/Hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skills.
