As a Technical Specification Engineer, you will create, maintain, review, and edit documentation for varied truck applications. You will collaborate with Sales Managers, Territory Managers, Peterbilt Engineers, body builders, and technical experts. The work requires clear communication, regulatory awareness, and attention to detail across specification projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, write, and maintain accurate Peterbilt truck specifications
- Clarify technical specifications and troubleshoot documentation inquiries
- Tailor specifications through customer visits and application investigations
- Update documents for models, regulations, and product changes




- Create manuals, service guides, charts, and diagrams

Requirements:

- Preferred bachelor’s degree in sales, business, engineering, or related field
- Technical specification writing experience in automotive or heavy truck industries
- Strong understanding of heavy truck systems and mechanical principles
- Proficiency writing clear, concise technical documentation
- Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, or technical writing tools proficiency
