Fractional Medical Director: Dermatologist

The chance:

RevelleCare is a Canadian company building a clinician-led prescription skin-health platform for women. Its initial focus is hormone-related skin changes in perimenopause and menopause, with a broader strategy spanning concerns such as acne, melasma, pigmentation and hair loss.

We are seeking a dermatologist who combines clinical judgement with an interest in women’s health, patient education and accessible digital care. This is an opportunity to help shape the clinical foundations of an emerging platform before launch, with patient safety and professional independence at its centre.

Proposed responsibilities:

- Clinical review: Assess the evidence and clinical rationale for the proposed treatment portfolio, including appropriate uses, limitations and alternatives.
- Patient selection and screening: Guide eligibility criteria, contraindication screening,

referral triggers and identification of patients requiring in-person assessment.
- Care protocols: Help establish prescribing, monitoring, follow-up, adverse-event and escalation protocols with the participating healthcare practitioners.
- Practitioner collaboration: Provide clinical leadership and support, with oversight arrangements tailored to practitioner scope, jurisdiction and the agreed engagement.
- Pharmacy coordination: Work with Pace Pharmacy on clinical questions and any outstanding readiness requirements. Pace has confirmed it can use existing master formulations and procedures for the initial five prescriptions; this role is not a request to invent the launch formulas from scratch.
- Patient information: Review the clinical accuracy and balance of treatment education and proposed healthcare claims.
- Research input:



Advise on the clinical relevance and feasibility of the proposed estriol and estradiol study. Any principal-investigator appointment would be a separate agreement.

Candidate profile:

We would welcome discussion with a dermatologist who has:

- Experience relevant to medical dermatology and prescription skincare.
- A strong interest in women’s skin health, including changes associated with perimenopause and menopause.
- A balanced, evidence-based approach to established treatments and emerging applications.
- Interest in virtual care and collaboration with pharmacists and other healthcare practitioners.
- The ability to translate clinical expertise into practical protocols and clear patient education.

Relevant Canadian licensure and the requirements for the proposed responsibilities would be confirmed before appointment. Clinical research experience would be valuable, but the role is not limited to candidates seeking a research appointment.

Structure and boundaries The engagement is remote, Canada-based and intended to be fractional. Time commitment,

availability and deliverables will be discussed transparently and agreed in writing before appointment.

Compensation: Equity-based compensation, with a monthly cash stipend considered based on experience, responsibilities and the agreed time commitment. Final terms will be mutually agreed before appointment.

This is an operational clinical leadership role, distinct from an occasional advisory appointment. Clinical authority and accountability would be expressly defined, preserving independent professional judgement. The role does not automatically include serving as every patient’s treating dermatologist, supervising every practitioner or acting as study principal investigator.

RevelleCare’s Scientific Advisory Board is chaired by Dr. M. Joanne Lemieux, PhD. The

Medical Director would collaborate with, but have a different mandate from, the SAB.
