About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking highly experienced Power Platform Developer for a six-month public-sector digital transformation engagement The selected professionals will lead the modernization of legacy Adxstudio Portals into scalable, secure, and maintainable Microsoft Power Pages solutions. The project involves complex portal migration, Dataverse data model transformation, full-stack development, security modernization, and integration with enterprise applications.

Ideal candidates will bring 10+ years of overall software development experience, along with substantial hands-on expertise in Adxstudio Portals, Microsoft Power Pages, Power Apps Portals, Dataverse, and Microsoft Power Platform technologies.

The engagement also involves leveraging Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot to streamline code transformation, accelerate migration activities, and improve development efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical assessments of existing Adxstudio Portal environments, including architecture, customizations, dependencies, and legacy adx_ entities.
- Develop migration strategies, solution designs, and technical documentation for transitioning legacy portals to Microsoft Power Pages.
- Modernize existing C#/.NET business logic through appropriate Power Pages components, Liquid templates, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Utilize Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and AI-assisted development practices for Liquid translation, JavaScript generation, code optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Execute portal data and configuration migrations from the Standard Data Model to the Power Pages Enhanced Data Model using Power Platform CLI and Dataverse migration utilities.
- Redesign legacy Entity Forms, Web Forms, and Lists into modern Power Pages forms, multistep forms, and related components.
- Configure and optimize Dataverse Table Permissions, Web Roles, authentication mechanisms, and access controls.
- Integrate Power Pages with external enterprise systems, including SharePoint, payment processing platforms, and authentication providers.
- Develop and maintain responsive portal interfaces using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript,



and related technologies.
- Perform technical troubleshooting, migration validation, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support production deployment, post-migration stabilization, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, technical stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure successful modernization outcomes.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

- 10+ years of overall professional experience in enterprise software development, full-stack application development, or Microsoft-based solution delivery.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience developing, supporting, or migrating legacy Adxstudio Portals (v8), Power Apps Portals, and Microsoft Power Pages.
- 8+ years of experience in portal modernization, including legacy architecture analysis, customizations, forms, templates, and component migration.
- 8+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dataverse, including Standard Data Model to Enhanced Data Model migration, schema mapping, and data transformation.
- 8+ years of experience with Power Platform migration utilities, Power Platform CLI, and related deployment or configuration management tools.
- 8+ years of experience implementing portal security using Dataverse Table Permissions, Web Roles, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- 10+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, C#/.NET, and related technologies, including substantial hands-on Liquid template development.
- 10+ years of experience integrating enterprise applications with SharePoint, external authentication providers, payment processing platforms, or comparable services.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience using Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or comparable AI-assisted development tools for code translation, JavaScript generation, debugging, and technical modernization.




- Demonstrated experience in technical discovery, solution design, migration testing, troubleshooting, and deployment support.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience delivering Microsoft Power Platform modernization initiatives within government, public-sector, or large enterprise environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Power Platform application lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Power Pages Enhanced Data Model migration planning, dependency mapping, and validation.
- Experience implementing complex Power Pages integrations and custom authentication solutions.
- Knowledge of AI prompt engineering and AI-assisted development workflows.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600).
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale portal modernization and legacy system transformation.
