DESCRIPTION

ICTC is seeking a contracted Project Manager to take over the full-time, day-to-day management of an active organizational initiative developing public-facing labour market intelligence products for policymakers, industry leaders, businesses, and job seekers within Canada’s digital economy. The initiative connects the development of a robust data infrastructure, internal research-driven performance indicators, and digital skills frameworks with accessible, web-hosted digital tools for end users integrated into ICTC’s existing web presence and product suite.

The contractor will manage the overall project schedule, daily communications, recordkeeping, meetings, and coordination across internal stakeholders and external vendors. Working from plans and activities already underway, they will establish a clear view of progress, resolve dependencies, and keep delivery moving through development, testing, launch, and operational handover to internal product owners and/or between vendors at various stages.

The contractor will work closely with ICTC’s Manager of Digital Strategy as the primary liaison for ICTC’s digital product suite; internal research and policy stakeholders responsible for intelligence inputs; an existing external project advisor; and multiple external vendors responsible for build and delivery of various products and product components. The ideal contractor brings disciplined project management and enough technical fluency to connect research input requirements, data systems, and web-based digital product design and delivery.

Please note that this is a contract role for a sole individual. Agencies are not welcome to apply.

- Maintain the launch plan and coordinate release readiness, approvals, communications, support documentation, and handover to the teams responsible for public launch and ongoing operations.

Other Responsibilities
