Role Description The Senior Application Developer contract role is a remote position responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web and enterprise applications that support JL13 Concepts’ platforms and client solutions. Day-to-day work includes writing clean, efficient code, implementing integrations between services and databases, and optimizing front-end components to deliver responsive and user-friendly interfaces. The developer will collaborate with architects, business consultants, and other technical team members to translate requirements into scalable solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security and performance standards are met.

This role also involves reviewing code,



mentoring other developers when needed, and contributing to best practices in software development and deployment.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining production applications.
- Practical experience working with Databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and optimizing data access.
- Proficiency with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for creating responsive, accessible, and consistent user interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with Integration between systems, APIs, and third-party services.
- Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET, Node.js, or similar).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment practices (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, application performance optimization, and reliability in distributed systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in a senior developer or lead role on complex projects is highly beneficial.
