ITI is looking for an IT Solutions Architect based in the Maritimes to help organizations turn their business challenges into practical, high-performing technology solutions.

This is a client-facing role for someone with broad expertise across cloud, data centre infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity who enjoys connecting technology to real business needs.

Working closely with our Account Managers, technical specialists and technology partners, you’ll act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process. You’ll help clients understand their options, design the right solutions and confidently move their technology initiatives forward.

You’ll also play an important role in growing ITI’s presence across the Maritime market. You’ll join a team of 10 IT Solutions Architects and report to the Director, IT Solutions Architecture within our Sales business unit.

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:

- Meet with clients to understand their business and technology challenges and translate them into solution requirements;
- Design and recommend IT solutions across cloud, hybrid infrastructure, data centre, networking and cybersecurity;
- Partner with Account Managers throughout the sales cycle, bringing the technical expertise needed to position the right solutions;
- Present solutions and recommendations in a way that makes complex technology clear and meaningful to both technical and business audiences;
- Build trusted relationships with clients across the Maritimes and act as a strategic technical advisor;
- Collaborate with technology partners such as Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, Commvault, Lenovo, HPE and Fortinet;
- Stay current on emerging technologies and market trends and share relevant insights with clients and colleagues;
- Continue developing your expertise through ongoing learning, training and certifications.

What we’re looking for

Your background

- Experience in IT solutions architecture, technical presales, solution engineering or another client-facing technology consulting role;
- Strong knowledge across areas such as data centre infrastructure, cloud, hybrid infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity;
- Experience working with technologies from vendors such as Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, Commvault, Lenovo, HPE and Fortinet, or similar technology ecosystems;
- Understanding of complex IT solution sales cycles. Knowledge of the Maritime market is a strong asset;
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in solutions architecture, presales or a similar consultative technology role is considered an asset;
- Relevant technical certifications are considered an asset;
- A university degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience;
- Strong spoken and written English skills to work with clients, partners and vendors and participate in industry training, events and conferences. French is considered a strong asset.
