The Storyboard Revisionist translates scripts into visual panels and sequences, working closely with the Storyboard Supervisor and Director to convey the action and emotion of each scene. This person revises and refines storyboard panels in accordance with creative direction while maintaining the quality, consistency and production schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
· Translate and convey the script through visual panels and sequences.
· Work closely and collaboratively with the Storyboard Supervisor and Director.
· Develop creative and engaging ideas that capture the action and emotion of each scene.
· Revise, edit and modify storyboard panels as directed by supervisors.
· Ensure all internal and external storyboard notes are incorporated and addressed.
· Communicate and troubleshoot creative or technical issues with the team.
· Manage timelines to ensure all work is completed and delivered on schedule.
Profile:
· Must be a resident of the Province of Ontario.
· Proficiency in Toon Boom Storyboard Pro.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in storyboard revision or related storyboarding work.
· Experience on adult comedy series or feature films preferred.
· Solid visual storytelling, communication, collaboration and time-management skills.
