HM Vocational Consulting is a Canadian vocational consulting practice providing vocational assessment, vocational rehabilitation, disability management, and return-to-work services.

As we expand our services and establish new referral partnerships, we are inviting expressions of interest from professionals interested in future vocational rehabilitation and employment support opportunities.

About the Opportunity

We are looking to connect with professionals who have experience in vocational rehabilitation, employment services, career development, or related fields.

The majority of work is expected to be remote, with the potential for hybrid or occasional in-person services as needed.

Depending on experience and qualifications, responsibilities may include:

- Interviewing clients to identify vocational interests, strengths, skills, and employment goals.
- Providing career exploration, vocational guidance, and employment planning.
- Assisting with résumé development, interview preparation, job search strategies, and employment readiness.
- Supporting job development and identifying suitable employment opportunities.
- Assisting with return-to-work planning and workplace reintegration.
- Coordinating vocational rehabilitation services and monitoring client progress.
- Communicating with referral sources, employers, and other service providers.
- Maintaining case notes,



progress updates, and related documentation.

Qualifications

We welcome interest from individuals with backgrounds in vocational rehabilitation, career development, employment services, disability management, rehabilitation counselling, psychology, social services, or related fields.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

- Experience supporting individuals with employment, vocational, or return-to-work goals.
- Strong communication, interviewing, and active listening skills.
- Experience in employment preparation, job development, training, or case management.
- Robust organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with other professionals.
- Understanding of employment barriers associated with injury, illness, or disability.

Professional designations such as CVRP, CCDP, CDMP, RTWDM, or related credentials are considered assets.
